PROFESSOR H3X
As a DJ I play global bass and dance music, with strong influences from UK diasporic sound culture. Through my practice and community in Chicago I am currently thinking through the enduring role of the DJ as a conjuror. I post gig updates and mixes at proh3x.com and on my newsletter.

BODIES OF KNOWLEDGE
Selected works on show as part of Inquiries (Commons Gallery, University of Oregon Portland)
23 April to 23 May, 2026 (free and open to the public)
Installation at EVOLUTION ARTS FESTIVAL (Lookinglass Theater, Chicago)
2 May, 2026 (advance tickets)
Bodies of Knowledge turns to the artist-ethnographer’s own body as a site and instrument of knowledge‑making. Across four movements, the project moves from perception to affect, from fleeting impressions to the demands of standardisation. Through sculpture, sound, and cyanotype, these selected works foreground the contingencies and temporalities of fieldwork, revealing the tensions and partialities that underlie ethnographic representation.

FUNCTIONAL CERAMICS
I produce small-batch functional and sculptural ceramics, mostly for sale at markets in the Chicagoland area. Contact me if you’re interested in a commissioned piece, I am open to interesting ideas that fit my practice.
